At this special festival, I can't help thinking of my dear grandpa. He passed away last year, but the memories of him still remain fresh in my mind. Grandpa used to tell us stories about his youth and always reminded us to cherish our lives.
Today, I go to the cemetery to pay my respects to grandpa. I bring along with me a bouquet of flowers, a card and some incense. I burn the incense and kowtow three times before his tombstone. Tears drop down from my eyes, and I feel the sadness in my heart.
From this experience, I realize the significance of filial piety. Our parents and grandparents have given us unconditional love throughout our lives, and we should not forget to show our gratitude and respect. Only by cherishing our family ties can we feel the warmth of love and harmony.
